Moonshine Park is a small park in Eagan that sits on LeMay Lake. Family-friendly amenities include a playground, space to picnic, hiking trails and a canoe launch. There is a bonfire pit near the shore of the lake and a sun shelter available for rent for private events. There is off-street parking for up to 8 vehicles. The Minnesota DNR lists this park as a Fishing in the City pond because it is a good place for beginners and children to try out fishing. Fish in this lake include Bluegill, Black Crappie, Largemouth Bass and Bullhead. The city of Eagan has created this video tour of the park and the Retreat Center, which is currently used for preschool classes during the school year.
