Ideas for Family Fun at Mears Park

  1. Attend a concert or community festival at the bandshell. During the summer Music in Mears and the Twin Cities Jazz Festival both host Free Summer Concerts at this park.
  2. Line up to view the annual Saint Paul St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade traditionally stars in Mears and ends by CHS Field.
  3. Enjoy the Holiday Lights that decorate the park each December.
  4. Pack a Picnic to enjoy in the park on a sunny afternoon. Then take a stroll through Saint Paul’s Lowertown district.
  5. Explore the Gardens & Stream that runs through the park. You might want to pack a change of clothes if you plan to let your kids really explore the stream.
