Huber Park in downtown Shakopee has family friendly amenities that include a unique playground, a nature area and trails, space for picnicking, and fishing along the Minnesota River. It has an amphitheater that hosts a performance series in the summer.
Huber Park's Community-Built Playground
Huber has a fun playground that was built by community volunteers in 2007. The colorful structures bring to mind castles, hideouts, and secret passageways.
The park shelter is available to rent for birthday parties and other private gatherings between late May and early October. Rentals start at $115/hour or $500 all day.
Huber Park Performance & Events Series
On Thursdays during the summer months, the Park Performance Series features free family entertainment. Outdoor Movies in the Park are shown on select Saturdays. Bring your blanket or lawn chair. See our calendar for a full listing of events.
