Creekview Park Skate Park
Creekview has one of the six existing skate parks in Minneapolis parks. This relatively underused skate park is due for some major re-hauls, but it sounds like it would make a good beginner park as is. Minneapolis Parks has made a goal to make the city more skater-friendly and is beginning to implement a 20-year plan for improving the overall skate park experience through design, operations, partnerships and safety measures. You can download the full 66-page plan here.
