Website Kaposia Park
Kaposia Park, one of South St Paul’s largest at 85 acres, was created as a Works Progress Administration project during the Great Depression. “Kaposia” is derived from the native Dakota people who settled their village in the area in 1826. There is a historic marker between the park and Kaposia Landing in memory of this event.
