Holiday Fair & Artisan Marketplace Minnesota Waldorf School, 70 County Road B East, St. Paul, MN Friday, November 16, 2018 6-9 pm (adults only); Saturday, November 17, 2018 10-4pm (family)
Proceeds benefit our friends at Minnesota Waldorf School. Friday Night is an adults only wine and cheese shopping event and Saturday is a family-friendly shopping experience with children’s activities that include a puppet show, pinecone birdfeeders, jump rope making, “Conquer the Castle,” and beeswax luminaries. Children will also have the opportunity to do a little holiday shopping themselves in the Snow Fairy Gift Garden.
13th Annual Green Gifts Fair Midtown Global Market, 920 E. Lake St., Minneapolis Saturday, November 17, 2018, 10am to 5pm $1 donation/person accepted at the door
Do It Green! Minnesota is hosting a Green Gifts Fair at Midtown Global Market. Throughout the market, there will be more than 85 local eco-vendors selling their green, recycled, fair-trade and organic gifts. Plus there will be food samples, music and kids activities. Several years ago a group of local crafters and artists joined together to create Crafters Local 612, a nonprofit organization with a goal of promoting local arts and crafts and providing opportunities for these artists to share their crafts with the public. They do this with the No Coast Craft-o-Rama events that feature designers, artists, crafters, and other talented creators of unique handmade goods.

This shopping event is for children to shop for family and friends in a “no parents” zone. Parents can help children create a shopping list beforehand. Gifts range from $0.50 to $12.00 and include choices of jewelry, coffee mugs, specialized gifts, knick-knacks, and toys. Volunteers will wrap and label presents at the end of their shopping experience.
Kids' Secret Holiday Shopping Spree Shoreview Community Center, 4580 Victoria St. N., Shoreview December 15, 2018 9:00 am – Noon.
Relax in Shoreview Community Center’s fireside lounge while park staff and volunteers help the kids shop for gifts. Send the kids in with a list of people that need gifts and a designated dollar amount to spend. Gifts range from $1-$15. Kids will have help with everything from selecting to wrapping gifts. No registration is necessary, and this is a free event for children ages 3-12. .
