Young Dance Studio is an inclusive, creative-based dance school in St. Paul that offers classes for children age 1 through adult learners. They also offer occasional family-friendly public events including an annual miniature golf fundraiser in the spring, a fall festival and winter dance. Watch our calendar for events.

Employing some of the best teaching artists in the Twin Cities, Young Dance offers a fun and developmentally appropriate curriculum in several styles and techniques. In addition to the and the Young Dance Performing Company, the 2022–23 Session includes classes in the following styles:

  • Afro-Modern
  • All Abilities Dancing
  • Ballet
  • Breaking
  • Creative Movement
  • Choreography
  • Dance Together
  • Hip Hop
  • Jazz
  • Modern.

Classes run September 15, 2022-May 21, 2023. The final weekend of the session culminates in performances at the Luminary Arts Center.

Studio Rental

Young Dance has two large studios available for rent in the Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul. Easily accessible by the Green Line light rail, the 16 and 67 Bus Lines, and ample parking in the Fairview Business Center parking lot. The space is fully ADA accessible with ramps to the sprung studio floor and automatic door openers.
