Woodbury Central Park is a landscaped, climate-controlled indoor public park that houses an indoor playground, the R.N. Stafford branch of the Washington County Library, a branch of the YMCA and an ECFE center. There is also a cafe located next to the library. The park hosts community programs, music, and movies throughout the year. In late April, this park hosts a Spring Tea Party for adults and children.
Lookout Ridge Indoor Playground in Woodbury Central Park
Lookout Ridge is one of the featured indoor playgrounds in Anne's Twin Cities Indoor Playgrounds and Play Areas Guide. The play equipment and climbing structure is themed to look like the St Croix River Valley with lookalike limestone caves and giant tree trunks. You can climb to the treetops and then make your way to the bottom on a number of zippy slides. Preschoolers and toddlers have their own spaces to bounce, climb, slide and explore a maze of tunnels and caves if they are not yet ready to scale the treehouse. Like most indoor playgrounds, shoes are not allowed, but socks are required for anyone (child or adult) in the play area. Socks available for purchase for $2 per pair in adults and children sizes.
