Tinkergarten is a national company with local classes taught by company-certified Leaders for children 18 months to 8 years old and their parent. Classes are taught outside (usually at local parks) with a goal of encouraging learning through play. Each class incorporates, outdoor play-based activities. Parents learn about their child’s development to support the child's learning through supportive coaching.
Class prices vary by instructor and number of sessions, but they tend to run about $15-$20/session. Most programs offer weekly sessions and run 8-10 weeks. Some instructors offer payment options. Sign up through the website.

Twin Cities Tinkergarten Leaders
Note that the website's search feature for classes and instructors is not awesome. You can search by zip code, but not by state or the Twin Cities metro. The leader I was searching for did not come up when I searched by my own zip code or by the city where the classes were held. You may have better luck scanning the list below.
Twin Cities leaders include:
- Andrea Bartholomew, St. Paul
- Shannon Clochie, Forest Lake
- Meghan Doblar, Minneapolis
- Katie Easter, Minneapolis (St. Louis Park)*
- Amy Franklin, St. Paul
- Meghan Healy, Seattle (Minneapolis)*

*If classes are held in a different city then where the leader is registered, I have put that information in parentheses.
