We had high hopes that Saints North Roller Rink would re-open in 2021, but it appears to have closed permanently. According to its Facebook page, owner Wendy Pearson passed away in March of 2021. We are sorry to see them go, but we do have some alternative skating and indoor play ideas listed below. The Saints North Roller Rink in Maplewood was the self-proclaimed “Twin Cities #1 family party zone”, offering open skate times, special events and birthday parties for Twin Cities kids and families. Follow the rink’s Facebook page for the most up-to-date information. “Pick the skating session that fits your needs and wants. Need a fun place for you and the kids to spend an afternoon or evening? Try our Family Fun Matinee (Saturdays and Sundays) or Family Fun Night (Fridays). Lots of fun, games, and prizes! Have younger children? Try our Youngsters Morning(Saturday morning). Adults, you have your own session on Adult Night (Wednesdays).” -Saints North Roller Rink The rink offered birthday party packages during open skate times and private parties. Packages include reserved seating, skate rental, fun meals, the birthday song, a chance for the birthday kid to spin the wheel for prizes and glow sticks for party guests.
