Rondo Library is located on the corner of Dale Street and University Avenue and is the busiest library in the St. Paul Public Library System (“SPPL”). It is busiest during the school year because of its homework help services, sometimes serving 100 students a night. Homework help is offered during the school year Monday through Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Rondo’s family-friendly amenities include both public and family internet computers, public art, a play-and-learn space, and a children’s specialist. Of course, it participates in all SPPL programs, including Bookflix, smARTpass and the read-down program. During the summer of 2017, Rondo underwent an interior remodel. Included in the remodel was a larger homework center, more quiet spaces, a dedicated teen space, and a more open floor plan with better lighting. In 2019, a local artist revitalized the exterior of the library building with artwork that celebrates learning, literature, and literacy. The children’s area was revitalized in 2023.Articles Related to Rondo Library
