Less than 5 miles from Franconia Sculpture Park, Pleasant Valley Orchard is located near Taylors Falls, Minnesota, overlooking the beautiful St. Croix Valley. During the harvest season, the orchard offers to following fun activities: The pumpkin patch is open daily during pumpkin season from 10am-6pm. Admission is free, but hayrides are extra. Pick your own is only available on weekends. Look for special Halloween activities leading up to the end of October. Apple season runs from Labor Day weekend through October with daily hours from 10am-6pm. Admission is free. If you want to pick your own apples go on a weekend. Free activities and – kinda fun and unique for an orchard – an annual 12 Days of Halloween event.
