Pacifier is a locally owned retail shop that specializes and clothes, toys and accessories for kids baby through preschool. There physical stores have always been extremely family-friendly, offering events, classes and play dates throughout the year in addition to kid-focused products. Pacifier owners, Wing & Jon, opened their first store in NE Minneapolis in 2004 after a frustrating and fruitless search for a suitably “cool” gift for their new niece. This first store was followed by their Downtown Minneapolis City Center store, the Edina 50th & France location, and a Highland Park store. In 2016, the original store moved from NE Minneapolis to the North Loop, allowing for expanded offerings, such as play-dates, meet-ups, classes and events. The City Center store has since closed. Scroll down for information and addresses on the 4 open stores. The North Loop location’s bearded dragon, Ella Lizgerald is taking a vacation from the store and living with a staff member’s family for the time being. We’ll let you know if she returns and public feedings resume. The North Loop store has a play area where children are invited to play while their parents shop. Drop in play dates are encouraged. This play area closed in 2020, but may reopen in the future. We will update this page with any new information.
