The museum offers one-hour tours free with admission on Thursdays at 11:00 am, Saturdays at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm. Story Time in the Gallery is a monthly free event geared towards kids ages 7-9 and their caregivers. Attendance is FREE, but sessions are limited in attendance, so Pre-Registration is Required. Choose between a 9:30-10am or 10:30-11am session. Families can watch for occasional Family Days and Children’s Tours. The Children’s Tours require reservations and sell out quickly. Watch our Family Fun Calendar for dates. While many of the exhibits will appeal more toward adults than children, they have had exhibits that featured children’s art, children’s stories and fairy tales and they often have special Easter Egg exhibits in the spring. The museum offers an online 360 virtual tour, where you can get an overview of the whole beautiful museum online. You can use this to help plan your visit or just to see what the museum looks like from afar. Or watch a virtual tour on YouTube. Audio’s are also available to tour the museum with a cell phone or to listen to prior to visiting. Admission for children through age 13 is FREE, which means a family visit will always be limited to adult admission. Older kids and college students can bring a student ID to get $5 Admission.
