Museum of Russian Art, Minneapolis
The Museum of Russian Art is a renovated historic building in South Minneapolis that features the art, history and culture of Russia through its exhibits. The museum offers one-hour tours free with admission on Thursdays at 11:00 am, Saturdays at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm.
Families can watch for occasional Family Days and Children's Tours. The Children's Tours require reservations and sell out quickly. Watch our Family Fun Calendar for dates. While many of the exhibits will appeal more toward adults than children, they have had exhibits that featured children's art, children's stories and fairy tales and they often have special Easter Egg exhibits in the spring. During the spring and summer of 2021, the Artel Dolls exhibit features vintage Russian dolls.
