Moore Than Dance is a Fridley-based dance studio that specializes in performing arts, including dancing, singing and acting. Besides dance classes, they offer theater classes, camps and birthday parties. They also have programs for students with special needs. Classes are offered for children 18 months to adults. Summer camps are themed and offered to kids ages 3-10 in July and August. We feature these camps in our annual summer camp guide, where we update prices and dates annually. The studio offers themed birthday parties that include dance, play and treats. Parties are two hours and include set up and clean up. Choose a theme such as Trolls, Frozen, Dance Party, Angelina Ballerina, Super Hero, or Princess Party or create your own theme. The studio opened in 2010 when Owner/Artistic Director Angela Mannella-Hoffman wanted to share her passion and knowledge of the performing arts with family-friendly programs that stressed creativity and personal well-being in a wholesome environment. They offer dance and musical theater programs for students age 6 months-Adult in the Twin Cities metro area. Their Mission is to provide wholesome and professional Performing Arts training in a family-friendly environment. Students learn how to sing, dance, act and appreciate their God-given talents. By offering a wide variety of dance styles and musical theatre classes for all age and skill levels, Moore Than Dance takes pride in finding music, costumes, and choreography that is age-level appropriate. The studio is conveniently located in Fridley, just outside of NE Minneapolis, a mile north of 694 on Central Avenue.
