Family owned and operated, beginning as Apple Farm in 1976, Minnetonka Orchards, near Minnetrista, has grown into a beautiful orchard destination. The orchard is under new ownership as of 2021. I (Gianna) have visited two times with many years in between and each time, I was happily surprised at what awaited. Look for Fall Apple Picking fun, Holiday events for Halloween and Christmas. The orchard is also available for birthday parties. If you are looking for an orchard outing that includes your family pup, this orchard allows leashed pets. Picking: Call ahead (763-325-4024) so see what varieties are available for pick-your-own. The orchard offers small-event packages for birthday parties with 30 or less guests. Parties include food and event planning for a fun, laid-back party in the orchard.
