What is the largest candy store in Minnesota? You can’t miss the giant yellow beacon of a barn by the side of Hwy 169 in Jordan, Minnesota declaring Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store! Located on Jim’s Apple Farm, this family-owned candy store is a favorite stop for visitors driving to and from the south Twin Cities metro. Anyone with even a chip of a sweet tooth will want to stop in to experience the astonishing collection of sweets, sodas and bakery treats for sale including a giant gourmet soda collection (150 kinds of root beer alone), and roomfuls of candy. As the candy store is operated by Jim’s Apple Farm, there is always a large selection of baked goods (like pie!) and fresh apples from the orchard in the fall. Sweet stuff not for you? There are plenty of savory snacks, too. Think chips, dips and charcuterie supplies. Got a Disney, Pixar, Star Wars or Marvel fan in the family? If so, it may be worth a special trip to the candy shop to “marvel” at the amazing new ceiling murals the owners have installed to entertain customers. Four separate rooms of the building have been dressed up with vaulted ceilings featuring eye-popping art and dioramas of beloved characters. Pictured here is the room where you can spot favorites from Frozen, Tangled and Toy Story. Moving on through the rooms stocked with taffy, licorice and gummies in more flavors than you can dream up, you’ll find yourself face to face with the Marvel superheroes! But don’t linger too long here – there’s lots more to explore. You’ll find fun indoors and out at this sweets super-store. Before you push through the doors of the yellow barn there are quirky attractions to seek out. Once inside, you can’t help but grin at the animatronic candy band that performs oldies hits every few minutes. The store typically opens around the second week of May and closes for the winter the Sunday after Thanksgiving and is generally not open December through April. You may want to mention to Santa that he needs to get there early. No waiting for December for stocking stuffers! During the season, they are open from 8am to 7pm on weekdays and 8am to 8pm on weekends. Note: It can be worth a call during the off season to see if they happen to be open. Please take note, this candy store only accepts cash (signage indicates they also take checks). They do, however, have ATMs onsite. While pricing is competitive, this is not a discount warehouse. However, if the kids bring their piggy bank change, they’ll likely find something they can afford. The store is about an hour southwest of the Twin Cities off 169 in Jordan. Like we said in the introduction, it’s hard to miss the sign.Candy, Sweets & More Selection

Hi Joyce. We are not affiliated with Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store. We just wrote a review. You kind of just have to take a leap of faith and go for a visit. However, as we note, they are seasonal, so you need to hurry.
I was just there with my family and I would appreciate someone contacting me please about a purchase that was made. Thank you
Hi Bridget:
We have no connection with the store other than that we visited and wrote about our visit. However, as we’ve mentioned in our article, the best way to contact the owners, other than visiting, is through their Facebook page.
