Family Friendly Fundraising Events at Minnesota Basset Rescue
MNBR offers an affordable family price for their fundraiser events (currently $20 per family,) so families can afford to attend while knowing that 100% of the proceeds go toward the dogs. This is a viable way for families who cannot own or foster a dog to have fun, interact and play with them. You can expect 60 to 80 dogs at the event. Events include both dog and people games that kids will enjoy watching and participating in. One event that is always a huge hit is the Hot dog eating contest when Bassets bob for bits of hot dog in a water bucket. We are told, it is pretty funny and ridiculous to watch and that kids LOVE it and find it hilarious.
