MiniSota Play Café provides an indoor play space and a café in one location. Like the former Wishing Tree and Play & Learn Cafes, there is an admission fee for children. Adults are free with a drink purchase or have a small admission fee. Unlike the earlier cafes, this is not a full restaurant. It is more of a coffee shop. Drinks are an affordable $3-$5/adult drinks and $1-$3 for kids 10 and under. They also sell a selection of pre-packaged snacks. Because they are catering to families with small children, the café puts an emphasis on cleanliness and safety, so parents can feel comfortable bringing their kids to play. The café moved to the Shoppes at Arbor Lake in Maple Grove in November of 2020. Families can book party room or the whole café for a private one-hour party. Birthday parties include set up and clean up and use of the play café as well as a gift for the birthday child. Addons can include activities, decorations and coffee service. Memberships are not currently available, but families can purchase 10-visit punch cards at a discounted price. Related Articles:
