About Little Hill Berry Farm
Aaron and his wife put their first plant into the ground in 2011. Since then, they completely transformed what was a “kinda dead and barren” cornfield, according to Aaron. Into fields teeming with plant diversity and life — a result of Aaron’s regenerative and organic farming practice. During the season, hundreds visit the farm to pick fresh blueberries and raspberries, experiencing firsthand regenerative agriculture. He sees the pick-your-own model as frequently overlooked (and disappearing in Minnesota), yet an opportunity for people to help young family farmers thrive in their profession.
Family Fun Little Hill Berry Farm
Little Hill Berry Farm welcomes and enjoys having children visit their farm. The aisles between the blueberry rows are grass and wide enough for strollers and wagons. They tell us that kids are welcome to sample the berries while picking and they’ll provide picking containers and boxes to take your berries home. Stop into the farm store during your visit for snacks and cold drinks along with products from Little Hill and other local farms.
What is the Family Fun Twin Cities Directory?
Our Family Fun directory is, quite simply, the most extensive collection of companies, organizations, activities and places to find things to do with kids in the Twin Cities.
Disclaimer: Our goal is to share Family Friendly Businesses. We work hard to keep our site the most current and accurate parenting resource in the Twin Cities. This parent to parent list was created for everyone — dads, moms and grandparents — to find fun things to do with kids year round.
This directory was made for families who live in the Twin Cities metro to connect with local businesses. However, visitors to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area will find our directory useful to learn more about venues with insider tips and details.
We hope you use this directory to find the best things to do with families in Minnesota’s largest metropolitan area.
