Summer: Disc Golf at Hyland Hills Ski Area

One of three pay disc golf courses in the Three Rivers district, Hyland Hill’s 18-hole golf course features a scenic view of the Twin Cities and elevation changes with holes that traverse, climb and descend ski slopes for a fun and challenging outing. Availability is dependent on the weather and the condition of the course. The cost of disc golf is $6/round or $45/season. If you are looking for a place to play free, check out Hyland Visitor Center or Lake Minnetonka Regional Park.

The park also hosts Movies and Music on the Hill each summer. Families can bring blankets or chairs and watch a concert or movie in the park on select dates.

Skiing at Hyland Hills Ski Area

This park is best know for its skiing. Located within Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Hyland Hills is the place for downhill skiing and snowboarding in the metro area. The terrain of the park is full of progressive and innovative features and offers some of the best snowmaking and grooming in the Midwest. If you’ve never hit the slopes or want to freshen up your skills, lessons are offered. Find current ski prices here.

We also love Hyland Hills for sledding.
