The Hopkins Pavilion is a year-round arena on the southwest corner of Hopkins Central Park. The community utilizes the area for activities including ice skating, broomball, soccer, lacrosse, inline skating, rugby, baseball, softball, concerts, company picnics and other community and private events.

The arena changes year-round from an indoor skating rink (September–February) to indoor turf (March–May) to dry floor (June–August). In 1990 the City of Hopkins used money from the 1989 park bond referendum to build the Pavilion, accommodating the growing necessities of the community and the park and recreation program.
