Cori Doerrfeld is a local illustrator and author of children’s books. Her illustrations are sweet and colorful and just make the reader happy. She has authored and illustrated an impressive library of books. Check out Doerrfeld’s latest book, Goodbye Friend, Hello Friend, published in July of 2019. This sweet story follows a little girl through the hellos and goodbyes of a school year. It was perfect for my 4-year-old starting preschool.

Cori Doerrfeld was one of the featured authors at Family Fun Twin Cities’ blizzardful Spring Fling in 2018 at Heartfelt Crafts in Linden Hill neighborhood, Minneapolis. Though the weather was nasty, she was gracious to show up and read to the small group of hearty souls who braved a freak April blizzard to join us in our celebration of Spring! We will always love her for that!
