Columbia Heights Library is run by the City of Columbia Heights and affiliated with the Anoka County Library. In 2016 it moved to its new, updated location on Central Avenue in Columbia Heights, next to the Heights Theatre and Dairy Queen. It belongs to the MELSA system, giving patrons access to most Metro Libraries through inter-library loan and also offering perks such as the MELSA smARTpass Program. I’ve found the staff at this library to be particularly eager to accommodate families with school age and younger children.
