Circus Juventas is the largest youth performing arts Circus school in the country. Over the past 21 years, co-founders Elizabeth “Betty” and Dan Butler have seen their dream grow into a year round program that serves over 2,000 children and youth up to age 21 with diverse array of circus arts training and performance opportunities. Circus Juventas’ mission is to inspire artistry and self-confidence through a multi-cultural circus arts experience. Students learn acrobatics, balance, aerial techniques, juggling and theatrical skills in a safe and nurturing environment. The focus is on discipline, hard work, and respect for their peers and themselves. Kids can choose between three types of summer camp programs that cover the aerial, acrobatics, balance, juggling, and theater arts: These camps are featured in our annual Summer Camp Guide, where we provide up-to-date information on pricing and dates. We are always impressed with the performances by these young artists. Read our reviews below for an idea of what to expect from a spring show. Second star to the right and straight on ’til you’ve reached the Big Top! Circus Juventas, St. Paul’s wonderful circus-arts school, takes us to Neverland this summer to fly with Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Tiger Lily, and all the characters we remember from the classic children’s story. My 7-year-old daughter, Emily, was my date for the affair for two reasons: 1) I knew from prior experience that she could withstand the substantial duration of the performance (3 hours including intermission) and 2) she already held dear the story of the boy who whisked a trio of kids off to an island where pirates and mermaids roam and no one has to grow up. Neverland lends itself beautifully to the craft Circus Juventas specializes in: trapeze, trampolines, tumbling and silks. You’ve got to see this spectacle to believe it. But hurry – seats fill incredibly quickly because Circus Juventas has developed a loyal following over its 20 years of teaching kids to take flight.`Summer Camps at Circus Juventas:
