Located on the grounds of the Bloomington Civic Plaza, Bloomington Center for the Arts (“BCA”) supportsĀ performing and visual arts in the community. The building houses two theaters, a couple art galleries and classrooms as well as a dance studio and rehearsal spaces. It is also home to 8 arts organizations. The following eight organizations call the BCA their home and will sometimes offer concerts, exhibits and events. Artistry presents exhibitions in both galleries of the BCA. You can find a list of current and upcoming exhibits on the Artistry website. Exhibits are always free. These small (but roomy) galleries are a nice way to introduce little children to art in small doses. The free parking is also nice, when you aren’t sure how long you can stay. The two theaters host performances by local theater, band, chorale and jazz groups. Arts Organizations located in Bloomington Center for the Arts
