Battle Creek Waterworks Family Aquatic Center is located in Battle Creek Regional Park. This pool is geared toward families with children 10 and under. There is a shallow water pool with interactive water play equipment and a separate activity pool with lily pad walk and swim area. For the grade school kids, there is a three story twisting waterslide with plunge area. When the kids need a break from the water, there is a sand play area and a sunbathing area. Family-friendly restrooms, showers and changing areas are provided. If you come with kids three and under, remember to bring a swim diaper or purchase one there. Appropriate swimwear is required for all guests. “Revealing swimsuits” (aren’t all swimsuits a bit revealing?), cutoff shorts and colored t-shirts are not allowed. There is no outside food allowed in the water park area, but there is plenty of free parking and picnicking areas in the greater Battle Creek park. The best go-to discounts for Waterworks include the twilight price, when admission drops to $5/pp at 5pm. Tot Times are a very reasonable $2.50 for preschoolers and their parents. Visitors can also purchase a 10-visit punch card for $60.00, saving $10 over the course of $10 visits. The waterpark sometimes lists discounts with Groupon. Tot Tuesdays hours are 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Kids 5 & under and their guardians can swim for the special admission price of $2.50. You will need to pay full price if you choose a to stay after 10:30 a.m. Battle Creek offers two two birthday party packages – a standard package and a cheaper twilight package. Both packages include up to 10 admissions and use of a birthday space. The all day package includes a lunches and a birthday cake. The twilight package includes birthday cake. On Sundays from 10am-11am, the park will host an autism-friendly hour that offers individuals on the autism spectrum or with other sensory needs a chance to experience the water park before it opens to the general public.
