Details:

Armatage Park and its recreation center bustle with recreational activities for a variety of interests and all ages. Family-friendly amenities include a playground, a wading pool and a skate park. There is a Little Free Library onsite. It also maintains a skating rink in the winter.

Free Summer Meals for Kids at Armatage ParkFree Summer Meals for Kids

Armatage participates in the summer meals program, offering free weekday meals to children under 18 years old. Meal time can vary from year to year.

Armatage Park Wading Pool

Armatage Park shares space with Armatage Elementary School; therefore, its wading pool is open mid-June through late August, just prior to school resuming. The pool is free to use between the hours 10 am to 9 pm daily. There are no lifeguards on duty.

In the winter months, Armatage maintains outdoor skating rinks for both hockey and skating. There is a warming room and some free loaner skates available.

Armatage Skate Park

One of the six current skate parks in Minneapolis is located in Armatage. Skaters particularly like the ledge and the smooth riding surface of the concrete base. MPRB has recently collected feedback on its skate parks and is in the process of implementing a 20-year plan to improve and expand the number of the skate parks in the city. Birthday Parties at Armatage Park

MPRB wants you to use your park facilities to their full potential! Individuals and groups are encouraged to use the centers and park spaces for self-directed activities. There are different permit requirements and special use fees, depending on the use.Make your child’s birthday party special! MPRB is committed to making your child’s birthday a fun and memorable event in the parks.
