Suddenly, we are all homeschooling?  Who woulda thunk? But with the announcement by Governor Tim Walz, Minnesota life just changed.

As many of you may know, I’m a homeschooling mom.  But that’s only half true.  While my girls are homeschooling currently, when they were in elementary school, they went to the neighborhood public school. Also, my boys are in 4th and 5th grade at the public elementary school. 

So I feel ya.  This was not in the plan for school, but it is what we’ve all got to work with. And I have some ideas for you about your child’s education during this time..

The face of table games for kids (or for anyone, really) has changed dramatically. No longer are we forced to play retro games like Sorry and Trouble and Old Maid with our little ones. I apologize if you like those games. Occasionally they can be fun. I just tend to become very bored, very quickly.

There was a hole in the market for delightful games that offer more of a challenge than counting out spaces on a board.  The game industry has taken on the challenge of creating engaging games for the whole family. And we couldn’t be happier.
