Celebrate Black History Month and explore St. Louis Park city parks. Find displays including posters with short biographies of Black and African American city and school district employees. Each featured employee will share someone who has inspired them when it comes to Black history.

Black History Month Tuesday Film Festival

Enjoy a family movie night at Maple Grove Community Center Tuesdays in February. Each evening features an influential move celebrating Black History followed by a discussion. FREE. Drop In. All Ages, but movies may be best for older kids and teens.

The Soul of Every Bite - Black History Month Dinner (FREE)

Black History Month Showcase

This year’s theme for Brooklyn Park’s annual Black History Month Showcase is “100 Years of Commemoration.” The event includes community leaders, local performers and artists, and food from local restaurants (for the first 200 people).

Sounds of Blackness: “Music for Martin”
