Sunrise Park is a 15 acre park off of Bloomington Ferry Road. Family-friendly amenities include a playground and space to picnic as well as sports fields and courts. In the winter, the city maintains ice rinks. There is off-street parking at this location. Restroom facilities s are seasonal.

1. Run around the playground. The playground at this park is small, but offers plenty of space for getting active.
2. Build sandcastles. The playground area is large and sandy — perfect for bringing shovels and buckets for making sandcastles.
3. Bring a playground ball and play one-on-one on the basketball court
4. or dodgeball on the soccer field
5. or kickball on the softball diamond
6. Try pickleball or tennis
7. Pack a picnic for a lunch-and-play date
8.  Go ice skating in the winter. Outdoor ice rinks are maintained between mid-December and mid-February when weather permits.
9. Take a stroll.  The Sunrise Park Trail connects Yukon Avenue to Bloomington Ferry Road through the park. The trail is paved, so you can bring strollers, skates or scooters.
