Harrison Park is an important part of the community, sitting adjacent to the Harrison Education Center and Harrison Neighborhood Association. Harrison Park traditionally participates in the summer meals program, offering children under 18 years old a free weekday snacks and a free meals. Check the official website in June for Summer Meal Times, if available. Harrison shares space with Harrison Education Center; therefore, its wading pool will open after the close of school and remain until just prior to school resuming. The pool is free to use between the hours 10 am to 9 pm daily. There are no lifeguards on duty. This is a newer pool with a zero-depth entry and a splash-pad-like spray feature. This recreation center offers a variety of camps, activities, events and field trips that can be found in the seasonal activity guides. The activity room has air hockey, foosball, ping pong and billiards. Board games and active games are available to borrow. There is an open computer lab.
