RETURN TO FAMILY FUN CALENDAR
Please Note: This calendar is personally curated by FamilyFunTwinCities.com to include only events we believe would be of interest to families. We attempt to include the information we find most essential as parents. We make every effort to keep up with changes. However, we have hundreds of calendar entries to manage and sometimes miss event modifications or make mistakes. We are not employed by or connected to the venues for the events we share and they will sometimes change without our knowledge. We recommend calling or checking the venue’s website to verify the information we have shared.

Thank you for sharing this experience with other parents, Nancy. The event is absolutely advertised in Richfield’s recreation brochure as “Ages 10+” and is listed on the “All Ages” page. I am so sorry that you and your son were treated so rudely. We’ll follow up with the Richfield Community Center and see if we can get more information.
We have heard back from Richfield Recreation Services Director, Karl Huemiller. He shares this information: “The Richfield Board Game Night is for kids and adult 10+. While most of the people who participate are adults, we do have families attend.”
We went to the Richfield Board Game Night. This is NOT an event for Kids 10+. Most of the people there were 60plus. They had no idea why my granddaughter and I were there. No one greeted us. No one explained that this was not a kids event. Finally I went up to a table of adults that were playing cards and I asked them if we were at the right place. They said we were at the Richfield Board Game Night, but it is not an event for kids.
