Description
Gale Woods sheep farmers shear the flock twice each year – in March, and again in November. During these spring and fall sheep shearing events, visitors can get an up-close view of the whole process. These are drop-in, all ages events you need to pre-register for (see link).

- Learn the steps of processing wool.
- Meet the sheep and other farm animals
- Explore the farm.
- Participate in make-and-take fiber crafts ($3-6 per project).
