The Savage Sports Center offers a climate-controlled (approx. 59 degrees) space for staying active indoors during the months of November through April. Families can participate in Open Play and Tot Times or rent the facility for birthday parties. The Sports Center also hosts community events. During Open Play, families and individuals can use the sports center to hit golf balls or practice a variety of sports without the worry of avoiding a group activity or practice. This program is for ages 6 and over, and participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Batting cages are not available at this time. Open Play is not offered in 2022. New for 2017, Tot Times will be offered from November 2017 through April 27, 2018 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 11:30 a.m.* Children ages 5 and under and their adult can play on inflatables, throw balls, hit with bats (hopefully not each other), and more. All equipment is provided. Admission is $3.00/child. Tot time is not offered in 2022. Find more Tot Times around the Twin Cities here.
