Concordia Language Villages is a sleep-away language immersion camp for children ages 6 to 18 years old to experience different cultures. It is a little like being an exchange student without leaving the country. Campers can choose between one-week, two-week and four-week sessions, with camp options between June and August. Camps (called “Villages”) offer immersion into languages and cultures for kids of all proficiency levels. Kids (called “villagers”) will feel like they are visiting a new country. They will get a Village passport stamped and have their spending money exchanged at customs, where they will also receive cabin assignments and have a proficiency assessment. Meals are cooked from scratch and reflect the culture the campers are studying. Campers can choose immersion camps in the following 15 languages: Learn more about summer camps here.
