Located in the Seward Neighborhood of Minneapolis and founded in 2000, Articulture is a collection of visual artists and art-lovers with a vision to create a space that supports community development through creativity. Programming includes classes for community members ages 1-100+. Families will enjoy age-appropriate workshops, classes, private lessons and camps for children and teens. Articulture wants to make the visual arts available to everyone and do that by meeting the artistic and social needs of the community. Birthday parties, community outreach, camps and classes, school-release programming and scholarships, are all created for the community to embrace as a way to grow the love of visual arts. The studio’s Youth Arts Collaborative (YAC) was created to engage urban teens and to help them incentivize social change through the creation of community public art.
