Located in the Seward Neighborhood of Minneapolis and founded in 2000, Articulture is a collection of visual artists and art-lovers with a vision to create a space that supports community development through creativity. Programming includes classes for community members ages 1-100+. Families will enjoy age-appropriate workshops, classes, private lessons and camps for children and teens.

Articulture wants to make the visual arts available to everyone and do that by meeting the artistic and social needs of the community. Birthday parties, community outreach, camps and classes, school-release programming and scholarships, are all created for the community to embrace as a way to grow the love of visual arts.

The studio’s Youth Arts Collaborative (YAC) was created to engage urban teens and to help them incentivize social change through the creation of community public art.

Summer Camps at Articulture

Children’s art day camps are offered for kids preschool through 12th grade for full programs. They run from early June through late August. Find more details featured in our annual Summer Camps Guide.

Articulture Birthday Parties

Articulture offers birthday party and event packages for for all ages. Packages include use of the studio space, aan instructor and all materials for participants to create with. Parties last two hours with an hour and a half of art time and a half hour for the party. Find up-to-date details in our annual birthday guide.

Toddler & Preschool Classes

Preschool and Toddler classes are on hold. When offered, the classes feature parent-child activities that provide a variety of materials and focuses on developing fine motor skills and brain development while giving parents a chance to learn how art can tie into academics and development. Teen Opportunities

Teens may enjoy participating in Friday Night Pizza Series where they can have a night out with friends and explore the creative process involved in new art techniques.
