On Saturday, February 1st, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Germanic-American Institute is hosting a Winterfest: Karneval & Euro Dance Party. This German festival is a great opportunity to head outdoors for music and food. There is beer for the grown ups. If you are sick of the cold, you can keep warm under the tent or gather around the bonfire on the Germanic-American Institute grounds. You are invited to wear your Halloween costumes to this event. Besides German music, there will be kid-friendly activities and other entertainment.
After the family-friendly festivities are over, the party will continue with a Euro Dance Party (21+). This could be a great date-night if you like dancing to 70s and 80s pop music.
