Grand Slam Sports in Burnsville is over 30,000 square feet dedicated to family fun. Grand Slam has hours worth of fun for a wide range of ages; this is important when we’re trying to choose an outing that makes everyone happy from the preschooler to the teenager. Activities include laser tag (a big favorite with our teens and tweens), an 18-hole mini golf loosely themed after Pirates of the Caribbean, bumper cars, the X-treme Trampoline, batting cages, a new Play Zone for kids 11 and under, and a full video arcade. The three-story Play Zone is a climbing obstacle course for kids, ages 11 and under, that includes air cannons, slides, and obstacles to crawl through, over, and around. There is a separate toddler area. Parents can purchase 3 hours of time in the Play Zone for their kids for $6.95/child, comparable to other indoor playgrounds. The play center offers a variety of unlimited play packages, starting at $9.95/person for a weekend evening package. Other three hour packages cost between $17.95 and $21.95 for 3 hours of play. Each of these packages include an arcade card and pop. If you are just stopping by to do one activity, single-play pricing is available. This ranges from $1.75 for 18 pitches in the batting cages to $8.95 for an hour of jumping in the Trampoline Park. Beginning September 8, 2020, hours are Monday – Thursday: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Weekend Special package is available Friday and Saturday evenings for $9.95 from 6-10pm. Packages include unlimited mini golf, laser tag and bumper cards plus 12 arcade tokens. We like to add on the trampoline option for an extra $4. It’s a pretty good bargain for a full 4 hours of entertainment. Everyone is required to have a signed waiver for the trampoline park. You can download it ahead of time at this link. <– PDF.
