Located in the Frogtown Neighborhood of St. Paul, West Minnehaha Recreation Center offers family friendly activities including family open gym and tot times. The recreation center has a fitness center, handball court and gym. there is also a a large craft room, kitchen and meeting rooms. The multi-purpose room has foosball, arcade basketball, air hockey and video games. Find free open game times in the seasonal activity brochure. Besides sports courts and fields, the outdoor area has a playground and picnic area for families to enjoy. ManySaint Paul rec centers participate in the free summer meals program, which runs from mid-June to late August. Specific hours are for each rec center are released in June at the link above. Summer Blast is a free summer program for grade school kids that offers activities and snacks each weekday in the summer. This program does require registration.
