Weber Park is a 12-acre park located in the Morningside Neighborhood in Northeast Edina. It has family friendly amenities that include a newly-renovated playground, green space, sports fields and courts and ice rinks and warming house in the winter. The park has restrooms and off-street parking. The City of Edina has recently updated and enlarged the playground with new equipment, including multiple slides, a raft swing and a 20-foot zip line. The playground equipment, designed to serve children ages 2-12, replaces the previous playground structure that had been installed in 1997. This park is a sports-oriented park and has the follow types of courts and fields: In the winter, this park hosts a full-sized hockey rink, an open skating area, and a warming house. It is one of twelve Edina Parks with outdoor skating rinks. Weather permitting, the rinks and warming house will be open from mid-December to early March.
