Newly built in 2020, Summerlin Park is a small neighborhood park that offers families hiking trails, space to picnic and a playground. While the park is small, it connects to other area Woodbury parks by a series of trails. Because of this feature, Woodbury would be a fun city to explore by bike on a cool summer day.

Summerlin Park Amenities:

As a small neighborhood park, Woodbury planned this park to include the following features that they believe best serve the local neighborhood.

  1. A neighborhood-sized playground with an emphasis on tot equipment;
  2. An grassy open play area for running and free-play (perfect for playing Fun Outdoor Games for Kids.)
  3. A gathering space where families can have picnics;
  4. A Trailhead connection to other nearby parks; and
  5. Wayfinding information.

Woodbury has a goal to provide trails connecting each of their parks, to provide unique neighborhood parks that serve the distinct needs of each community while providing variety to the overall city park plan for the larger community.
