Smith Park is a 25 acre park in Bloomington. Family-friendly amenities include a playground, sports courts and fields and a fishing pier. The park offers off-street parking and seasonal restrooms.

The new Smith Park Playground challenge course opened in April of 2024. It includes a dash course and climbing structures arranged to be run as a race.

Fishing at Smith Pond

Smith Pond is one the most popular city-owned fishing ponds in Bloomington. The pond covers 7 acres.  There is a pier available for fishing and the pond contains black bullhead, black crappie, bluegill, hybrid sunfish, pumpkinseed, brook stickleback. The Minnesota DNR has designated this a Fishing in the Neighborhood pond, which means it is considered a good place to bring children and beginners,
