Savage Canterbury Park is a neighborhood park, not to be confused with the track in Shakopee of the same name. The park is 20 acres and amenities include a playground with some tot-friendly equipment, a nature trail, a picnic shelter and grill, and sports fields. In the winter, it has a skating rink with a warming house. Pets are welcome at this park as long as they are leashed, controlled by their handler and picked up after. To rent the shelter for a birthday party or other gathering, reservations can be made HERE. The rental is for a full day and includes the picnic shelter and sand volleyball court.
