Pioneer Park is a neighborhood park in Woodbury. Family friendly amenities include an accessible playground, space to picnic and walking trails. There are also sports fields and courts as well as an ice rink in the winter. This park has off-street parking and portable restrooms. Woodbury allows leashed dogs and other pets in its parks. Pick up is the responsibility of the person walking the dog. The trails at Pioneer Park are paved and may be used for biking, skate boarding, scooter and rollerblading. However, walkers and joggers have the right away and there is a 15 mph speed limit on the trails, even downhill. Pedestrians are asked to stay to the right. The city of Woodbury maintains an unsupervised pleasure skating rink at this park, but no warming house. Ice rink openings are dependent on proper weather, but are generally open from the end of December through the end of February. Find current outdoor ice rink information at the City of Woodbury.
