Pine Point Regional Park in Stillwater is 296 acres of mostly trails and space to picnic. The trails span five miles and connects to the larger Gateway Trail system. The trails can be used for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing or horseback riding. This is a good park for bird watching. The trail has been equipped with a bike tune up station. This park, and all Washington County Parks, are subject to vehicle fees, but on the first Tuesday of each month cars can enter without paying the fee. Washington County parks share reciprocal pass benefits with Anoka and Carver County parks. This park participates in a rotating schedule of guided bird hikes throughout Washington County Parks. Hikes are always 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and a schedule can be found here. During these hikes, participants of all ages can learn to identify the birds found in the St. Croix Valley. They will also contribute to citizen science data collection by completing bird count surveys with the guide. Washington County is in the early stages of developing a master plan for this park, beginning with seeking community input. Washington County Parks Include: Vehicles at Washington County Parks
