Brooklyn Park’s All-Inclusive Playground

Because the city had already built the inclusive softball field, when it came time to replace old playground equipment, Brooklyn Park chose to go with the accessible here as well. The equipment was designed so nearly anyone can use and enjoy everything on the playground. To accomplish this, the surface was created with artificial turf and the playground equipment offers special inclusive features!

Todd Anderson Wheelchair Softball Field

in 2013, the city installed the first and only dedicated competitive wheelchair softball field in the five-state area. The field uses a color-coated asphalt surface and it is open to anyone to use for kickball, whiffleball, or other field sports.

Birthday Parties at Northwoods Park

The park has a picnic pavilion and a park building, which are both available to rent for private events like Birthday parties. Rates are per day with prices for residents and non-residents.
