New Hope Civic Center Park is a nearly 20 acre park encompassing city civic buildings, a community gathering space, an aquatic center and a skate park. The park has family friendly amenities that include a playground, picnic areas and grills, walking paths, a skate park and sports courts and fields. As home to the New Hope Performance Center, an outdoor theatre, it hosts community events throughout the year. In the winter there is a sledding hill. For families with four-legged members, this park offers an off-leash dog area. There is an off-street parking lot available to visitors. Birthday parties at the pool includes exclusive use of a cabana and an option to purchase box lunches. Choose between an afternoon or early evening timeslot. It is suitable for all skill levels and is open from 8 am to sunset. Summer brings both live entertainment and movies in the park to the outdoor theatre at Civic Center Park. Movies begin about dusk. Bleacher seating available and a limited amount of space for blanket is also available. Concessions will be available for purchase.
