Nelson Park in St. Louis Park is a neighborhood park that sits on the Cedar Lake Regional Trail, offering a nice rest stop for trail users. While this park’s amenities do not include a playground, it does offer, picnic space with restrooms and a drinking fountain. Visitors can enjoy the Bronx Park Community Vegetable Garden (run by the Bronx Park Neighborhood Group) and public art. 

Offstreet parking is available. This is one of several parks in St. Louis Park that provides free Wi-Fi in its park shelters and picnic shelters.

Birthday Parties at Nelson Park

This park has a fully-enclosed park building that is available for the public to rent from early May to mid-September for private events, such as birthday parties. The building holds up to 20 people and can be rented by the hour with prices for both residents and non-residents.
