Maetzold Field in Hopkins was completely upgraded in 2013. Although mainly a sports park, this 10-acre park does have a large playground with shade umbrellas. There is also space to picnic with tables. The playground, like the rest of the park, was recently renovated. It is geared toward older kids with a lot of climbing structures. The floor is wood chip.
